Well I think it is safe to say that I need to get better at adding blog posts here. I am definitely having struggles with fitting everything into my life. For some reason lately I have not been wanting to spend much time on the computer. But here I am adding this update, finally.
I did not win the scholarship that I mentioned in the previous post but I think that was actually a good thing. It was a great experience for me and after reading some comments from people who watched the video I have decided that I am going to work on posting more videos to my You Tube Channel. 2015 will be the year that I actually start using You Tube to promote my paintings. Last Wednesday May 14th was a beautiful Full Moon. I gathered all of my crytals together and set them outside all night so they could soak up the energy of the Full Moon. The Full moon is so powerful and its energy can cleanse and charge crystals.
The next morning I brought the crystals in and they were all just beaming with happy energy. I decided I needed to paint a few pictures so I went about my normal routine of seeing what crystal wanted to be used that day and not surprisingly, my Moonstone Crystal just about jumped into my hand. It has taken me many years but I think I have finally found my passion and it is not what I expected or what I would have guessed. I have found that there is room in me to be passionate about multiple things and I love that.
I am passionate about painting, specifically painting with spray paint. I am learning about acrylic painting too but I think the spray paint is my first choice. I will eventually combine the two mediums but for now my focus is on the srpay paint. Continue reading »
