Due to a holiday I had four days off this weekend and I am happy to say they have been productive. I was able to do some great work on my art as well as getting some things done that needed to be done in real life. And I certainly did nor feel rushed about any of it.

I admit it. I got caught up in the routine of life and in other things that were invading my mind and I just plain stopped putting any energy into my painting and my ETSY store. I allowed so many other things to take hold of my energy. I feel like I have maybe slept walked through most of 2015.

Well I think it is safe to say that I need to get better at adding blog posts here. I am definitely having struggles with fitting everything into my life. For some reason lately I have not been wanting to spend much time on the computer. But here I am adding this update, finally.
I did not win the scholarship that I mentioned in the previous post but I think that was actually a good thing. It was a great experience for me and after reading some comments from people who watched the video I have decided that I am going to work on posting more videos to my You Tube Channel. 2015 will be the year that I actually start using You Tube to promote my paintings. It is exciting but scary at the same time.

2014 ended on a great note for me as I logged into email on December 31st and had notice that I once again sold two paintings. These paintings both went to the same person and I love the contrast of the soft muted one done with a Shaman Stone combined with the the bold bright one done with Orange Calcite.
I think 2014 was a great year for me artistically, getting the ETSY store up and running and filling it with paintings. It took a while to get it all tweaked but once I did things have moved along easily. I think for my first year with little promotion done I have had a good amount of sales. I plan to promote better in 2015 and add some new sizes and maybe even some different type of energy art so I see great things in my future.

I came home from work yesterday, checked my email and was very pleasantly surprised to see an email from ETSY with the subject line of Confirmation Of Order. I scrolled down and saw that I had sold a painting and then a little more scrolling showed that I had actually sold two.
I was so excited. I love to see people being moved enough by my paintings to purchase them. This person is a new ETSY user too. She signed up for on the same day she purchased my paintings. I like to think she saw my paintings and had to have them so she signed up for ETSY and purchased them.
