Sometimes Life Gets In The Way

Sometimes life gets in the way. It gets in the way of doing the things I really want to do. There is a balance that is needed to allow for the things that need to get done and for the things that I want to get done. I am still working on finding that balance.

As much as I want my life to be a specific way, I realize that it is a process to get to that point. I take steps every day to get me to that point but sometimes I wonder if that is enough. Sometimes, I also get so caught up in what needs to be done that I forget about what I want.

Friday The 13th Update

Well I think it is safe to say that I need to get better at adding blog posts here. I am definitely having struggles with fitting everything into my life. For some reason lately I have not been wanting to spend much time on the computer. But here I am adding this update, finally.

I did not win the scholarship that I mentioned in the previous post but I think that was actually a good thing. It was a great experience for me and after reading some comments from people who watched the video I have decided that I am going to work on posting more videos to my You Tube Channel. 2015 will be the year that I actually start using You Tube to promote my paintings. It is exciting but scary at the same time.

Putting Myself Out There

Well the New Moon sure affected me last night. You see I have been wanting to take the Hibiscus Moon Certified Crystal Healer Course for a few years now and I finally figured out how to afford it but then my fridge broke down so I had to use the money to get a new one.

Reiki Flowing Into My Life

Well I didn’t do a very good job of blogging in January. I did however get my Reiki Attunements and am now a Reiki Master. I cannot even describe how great I feel since geting the attunements. I give myself a Reiki Treatment every night before bed and man have I been sleeping great. The energy flowing through me is absolutely amazing.

I have been practicing with the Reiki Hand Placements. I have given my family some Rapid Reiki and Full hour treatments. Before the attunements I was using crystals and giving energy treatments and I know that once I get really comfortable with the Reiki process I will integrate the crystals back into my sessions. I am shooting for this summer to actually start offering my Reiki services to others. I have some details to work out first but I am looking forward to it.

Ringing In 2015 With Paintings Sold And Magic

2014 ended on a great note for me as I logged into email on December 31st and had notice that I once again sold two paintings. These paintings both went to the same person and I love the contrast of the soft muted one done with a Shaman Stone combined with the the bold bright one done with Orange Calcite.

I think 2014 was a great year for me artistically, getting the ETSY store up and running and filling it with paintings. It took a while to get it all tweaked but once I did things have moved along easily. I think for my first year with little promotion done I have had a good amount of sales. I plan to promote better in 2015 and add some new sizes and maybe even some different type of energy art so I see great things in my future.
