A Present On The Wind

I have a few roadrunners hanging around my work and it is such a joy to watch then every day. I have seen many roadrunners in my life but being able to truly watch them interact and go about thier day really is a blessing.

The other day I was raking my work site and one of the roadrunners was across the street under a tree. He shed a feather and then the wind kicked up and carried the feather across the street and iht over to me where it landed at my feet. This is a photo of the feather.

Decluttering

This is part of me working at sharing my thoughts more even when I do not really know what I want to share. Work the last few days has been brutal. It has been very hot and also humid which is not something I am used to. It has also been bery physical. Lots of heavy lifting and moving around a bunch of furniture.

The thing about work being brutal and draining me and whiping me out is that it does not allow for much thinking. I mean, sure I think about people and things but I do not have the time or the energy to dwell on things. For me, dwelling n stuff has always been an issue, but I have gotten much better in the last few years.

I Realized

I have been absent for quite a while now and am finally coming out of the dreary routine of simply exsisting and getting back to doing what I want and what I love.

I finally realized that I fell right into that trap of routine, going to work, coming home, sleeping, etc. You know what I am talking about. It is easy to get pulled into that trap and I was pulled in hard this time.

The Death Monologues Comes To Tucson

May 3, 2015 was a fantastic night. Giselle came down to Tucson to do a private showing of her play The Death Monologues in our back yard. It was a small group of family and a few other interested parties but we had a great time. It is wonderful that her show is designed that it can be performed just about anywhere.

Sometimes Life Gets In The Way

Sometimes life gets in the way. It gets in the way of doing the things I really want to do. There is a balance that is needed to allow for the things that need to get done and for the things that I want to get done. I am still working on finding that balance.

As much as I want my life to be a specific way, I realize that it is a process to get to that point. I take steps every day to get me to that point but sometimes I wonder if that is enough. Sometimes, I also get so caught up in what needs to be done that I forget about what I want.
