Unfuck Yourself – Coaching, Inspiration and Support

Keep These Words in Mind

This is a wonderful video to help fuel and refuel your passion for life whenever you are feeling down. The music is lovely and if you wish you can sit back, close your eyes and just let it wash over you. Or you can read the quotes as they come up. Either way, do whatever feels right for you.

There were a few quotes that really resonated with me and where I am at right now so I will list those below but take the time to find the ones that resonate with you.

Happiness is where we find it, but rarely where we seek it. – J. Petit Senn

This is a simple statement but a hard lesson to learn and truly accept. I have always thought I knew what I needed to be happy and that is what I went after, what my mind told me. I had moments of happiness and was fooled into believing I was happy at times when I really wasn’t.

Now I have learned to accept that I cannot determine what makes me happy. That comes from a place that is not my mind, a place inside me, around me, and surrounding me. That part of me that is the true me. Give up listening to the mind and just trust and then true happiness will be found.

Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see Life with a clear view again. – Alex Tan

I Love this. I used to hate to cry and I would fight doing it every time. Now I have learned to accept it and trust that this is a cleansing thing and I do usually come out of a good cry with a new perspective on things. Give in to it and let it wash away what it needs to.

Just remember, the only people not making mistakes are those who aren’t doing anything. – Tim W. Welborn

There have been many times in my life that I didn’t do something because I was afraid of making a mistake, or failing. Now that fear is gone and I gladly accept whatever happens. I don’t truly view anything as a mistake because there is a lesson in everything. For me, right now, life is all about the experiences, good or bad. Each experience teaches me something new or reminds me of what I have forgotten. As long as I am learning, then nothing is a mistake.

Watch the video and find those quotes that resonate with you. If you feel up to it, follow what I did and write a little something about why that quote resonates with you. You might be surprised what you find out. Enjoy.
