Well I finally did it. I created an Artist Facebook Page for my art. It is called IAmMyWalk Creations By Cheryl Larkin. You can also search @iammywalk to find it on Facebook.

It was actually a scary and tough thing for me to do but I faced that fear and did. It will focus on my art and my process and whatever else inspires me to create.

Another Year

As they say, time sure flies, and boy that is what has been happening with me this year. I have been going through a lot of changes and have been getting caught up in the day to day of life and have been ignoring the blog. I have said it before and I will keep saying it until I get my act in gear and keep up with it. I am sorry and will try better.

Another year of friendship has passed with me and Giselle. And truly, the friendship that has formed between us is very special to me and more important than I would have guessed. They great thing about this year was that we got to spend our friendiversary together.

Feeling Lighter

Well a lot has sure happened in the last month for me. I lost my job as did my daughters boyfriend so in one swell swoop our household lost all of its income. I could totally be freaking out, but I am not. I am taking it one day at a time and trusting that the Universe has my back and all will work out as it should.

In order to get some money we decided to have a yard sale. Yard sales are a lot of work, especially in the 110 to 115 degree heat we have been having, but we all pitched in and did it. IN truth, it was actually kind of exhilarating to me. One of the best things to come from it, aside from the money we earned, was realizing how much decluttering went on to prepare.

Wow 2016!

Wow! I cannot believe that 2016 is already half over. I apologize for my absence. 2016 has already been quite a ride for me and keeping up with my blog and social media and my spiritual growth and painting and so much has gotten buried in the craziness of life. Not an excuse, and surely not what I want. It just took me a while to realize that was what was happening.

The photo above is one I took in April 2016 when I was hiking along he edge of the Grand Canyon. That was two days after I did some hiking in Sedona, AZ. That was the trip that opened my eyes and my heart to the fact that I had lost myself in the craziness of life, and I knew that I had to snap out of it and get back to what truly fills me wih joy.
